Markings: The top of the barrel rib is marked “ARMY AND NAVY C.S.L” and “ENGLAND”, with the England marked front to back while the distributors name is marked back to front. (CSL stands for the Army and Navy Co-operative Society Ltd. formed in 1871 to sell guns and equipment to its members). The left side of the top strap is marked “”WG” MODEL 1889”. The left side of the frame is marked “WEBLEY / PATENTS”, a W&S “Winged Bullet” logo and a “Crown / BNP” proof. The left flat on the barrel lug is marked “6 TONS PER SQ””. The left side of the barrel is marked with a “Crown / BNP”, “.455”” and “.760””. The right side of the frame is marked “3233”. The rear face of the cylinder is marked “89” and “3”, and the circumference just behind the flutes is marked with six “Crown / BNP” proofs. . For sale is an as-new Surefire DSF-870. I had it installed on my shotgun for several months, but the light itself has not been used besides basic function testing. I found it to be almost absurdly bright, which is exactly what you'd want from a home-defense shotgun light. I switched my at-home-use firearm, and as such I will not be needing this anymore.

You are considering 2 empty Russian Cold War Era ammo crates from 1980. Each crate is designed to hold two spam cans of 7.62x54r ammunition. That totals 880 rounds. The hinges are intact and these are functioning boxes. They recently were holding ammunition and have been sitting in warehouse storage for many years. The boxes open and shut as they should.
I look at these and in my opinion these boxes are a perfect example of communism; very elaborate in design and time intensive for the simple act of storing ammunition. They were fun boxes and make fine use as end tables or art for around the house along with being functional.
