Colt Golden Spike Frontier Scout Commemorative 22 L.R. caliber 6 shot single action revolver. Only made in 1969. 6 inch barrel, blue with gold trim being hammer, trigger, screws, loading gate, cylinder, cylinder pin, and ejector rod and housing. It has a Black Magic finish w/ gold pins, trigger, cylinder, hammer, etc. It has beautiful grips that have been made to mimic the feel of a railroad tie! Comes in very nice presentation case with carving on top of case (see pictures). Inside the case lid says The driving of the last spike and the meeting of the engines on May 10, 1869, at Promontory Point, Utah-culmination of a process that had required two centuries and a half. The continent was spanned.
