Based on the time-tested 92, the 100 and 101 offer .40 caliber stopping power in Taurus' exclusive forged-alloy frame, and an ambidextrous three-position safety that allows "cocked-and-locked" single action carry or the convenience of decocked double action. Available in fixed sight model 100 and in adjustable sight model 101, it's an unprecedented mix of dead-on firepower and custom features that the other guys just can't touch.
3 Position Safety Decocker (929s)
Try the ambidextrous Three-Position Safety on any Taurus pistol capable of firing in both single action and double action. It's easily operated and provided at no additional charge. Depress with your thumb and safely drop the hammer to de-cock the pistol. The safety returns to the OFF position, ready for double action shooting. Push the safety up and your cocked pistol is safe to carry in the single action mode. When applied to a de-cocked pistol, safety is ON and the first shot is double action.

***dpms .223, 20'' super bull barrel, Recessed Target Crown for muzzle protection and superior accuracy, while its extra heavy 1.10" Diameter Contour is ideal for bench rest shoors as it moves extra weight to the front end of the rifle for faster shot-to-shot recovery. 1x9 twist, Tefloned, The barrel required special aluminum gas block and straightening of gas tube. (stopped producing barrels and gas blocks after 2009)
***dpms stainless steel lower receiver. This lower is very strong (machined from milled stainless steel) and would make an ideal .50 caliber lower should you want to do add another caliber to the frame. Had it tefloned same time as barrel. the lower is stamped from Becker, mn. (pre-2004 before the move to st.cloud,mn shop, now there planing on going to Alabama soon) and with an awesome serial number (1,000) its a collector for someone.
