(Portland) Austrian Steyr M95 Straight Pull Rifle 8x56R - $ 175
Up for sale is an Austrian M95 straight pull carbine. These started life as long rifles chambered in 8x50R, and served as the main rifle for the Austro-Hungarian Empire. After WW1 they were shortened to carbine length, chambered for the more powerful 8x56R round, and a side sling swivel was added to the stock. These carbines were used by Hungarian forces and rear line German forces in WW2.
This particular rifle is in very good condition. Metal looks about 70%; there are some old dings and wear in the stock. The bore has some roughness but is still mostly bright with good rifling. The numbers seem to be matching except the stock. It was made in 1918. One en bloc clip is included.

(St. Louis) 9mm Sig-Sauer P239 DA/SA, comes with five mags - $ 575
I've got a 9mm DA/SA Sig-Sauer P239 for sale. According to the serial number guide I found this is a mid-90s pistol (SN# SA23xxx) meaning it predates the decline in QC that the Sig product line saw in the 2000s. Pistol is in good shape overall and shoots great but has some finish wear on the barrel and sharp edges of the slide. Comes with five genuine Sig OEM magazines, blue SigArms plastic case, and a universal P-series manual.
This is a fantastic pistol for women or anyone else that has trouble properly gripping a fullsize double-stack. Don't get me wrong because I don't mean that in some dumb "durr hurr wimmin cain't handle no real gun" sort of way but rather that the frame size, slim grip, and control ergonomics are great for people with smaller hands. On top of that the all-metal construction gives it added heft and thus controllability when compared to similarly sized polymer-framed pistols, with the extra mass helping to soak up recoil. This was my wife's favorite pistol when she started shooting, and later on it was always the first centerfire pistol she handed to her friends when she brought them to their first range experience.
At the same time since it's slightly larger than what's considered a compact frame by modern standard, it's also not too small for those with larger hands who'd prefer a slim and all-metal EDC.

(Portland) German K98 Mauser 1936 Sauer & Son, RC - $ 500
This is a very nice German K98 Mauser rifle made in 1936 by Sauer & Son. It is a Russian capture rifle, so the stock has been coated with a red Russian finish, and the Russians forced matched the parts to the receiver by electro-pencil. All the electro-penciled parts match. The is no cleaning rod or capture screws.
Condition of the metal is very good to excellent. It looks to have seen little use. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and mo pitting. The stock is laminate and has a flat buttplate. There are some minor dings, but it is still attractive as is. The stock end cap and sling band are appear to be milled, and are unmatching to the rifle. All the German acceptance stamps that I could find are unmessed with and intact.
Will do face to face in the Beaverton area. Will need to see an Oregon ID. Price is a firm $500 cash. I can ship to out of state buyers via FFL or C&R where applicable. Shipping is at buyer's expense.
