.44 Cal. Dragoon with 7 1/2" Barrel: 1851 Colt Navy, Cap-and-Ball (Blackpowder) Brass-Framed revolver with Blued Barrel and Walnut Grips. "Traditions" is the manufacturer, it is made in Italy. It Has the Octagon Barrel with Brass Site and has very intricate etchings surrounding the cylinder. It is brand new and has only been out of the box long enough for these pictures to be taken. Barely handled and certainly never fired. It is beautiful. The 1851 Colt Navy is indeed iconic and symbolizes the Civil War and Wild West like no other handgun; it was used by such notables as Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill Cody and Calamity Jane, the Colt Navy also served on both sides of the Civil War.
2 days after my father ordered this, he changed his mind and decided he wanted a blackpowder Carbine rifle. This revolver had shipped already and it was too late to cancel the order; it has now just arrived. $228.00 takes it.
It comes in original box with all original paperwork. The paperwork gives all details regarding what materials to use, how to load and how to clean and maintain.
There are no Federal regulations regarding this revolver. Because it does not shoot "manufactured cartridges" (i.e. pre-made shells/bullets) it is not considered a firearm. Federal law prohibits no adult from owning these black powder products.

Beautifully blued with 6 inch barrel, a classic. I saw the same gun at Guns America for $1000. The only difference was it had a 7.5 inch barrel. The only reason I am selling this weapon is has more weight than my Super Blackhawk, this gun is the New Blackhawk and should shoot much better than my old gun. I killed many pigs with the Super Blackhawk. This would be a great gun as an investment although I almost went pig hunting with it last week.
