I'm in the market for a .44 Mag for hiking and back country camping, and the S&W 329PD (Scandium frame and Ti cylinder) is VERY appealing, but I have heard very mixed reviews about how brutal the recoil is. I'm not a recoil baby, but if it's just not enjoyable to shoot, I might go for the 629 instead.
Bill's gun shop does not have one to rent.
Does anyone have a 329PD and would be willing to let me shoot it? We can meet at a local gun range, I'll pay for the lane and bring ammo.
