Top of the line when it was built, has adjustable objective lens, and it is still as good or better than the current production VX lll. It is very nice for an older scope, just not absolutely perfect, but the glass is perfect, crystal clear and bright. It has low turrets with standard adjustment slots. Beautiful classic gloss finish Vari X lll. It was hunted with years ago, but not for a bunch of years now. It has just sat in my safe, and it is time to let it go to someone who recognizes what it is, and appreciates it. It is a great match for a nice vintage glossy wood stock rifle like the Remington 700 BDL that I once had it on.

Cash price is firm unless you buy this scope and my Burris and/or my Weaver, or other items in a package deal. If you are rude enough to send me a lowball offer, I am rude enough to ignore you.

Fullfield ll model, with ballistic plex reticle, perfect in every way, not a blemish anywhere, no ring marks. This scope currently sells for 200 dollars plus tax at Academy and Walmart, so you can save sinificant money, about $89.00 on a quality, brand name scope just because it is pre-owned.

I will only reduce if sold in a package deal with my Leupold and/or my Weaver. Otherwise my price is firm. No offers.

This rifle was won in the CMP monthly lottery many years ago, (long before the Greek 1903 rifles came back to the USA.) It has not been messed with or modified since arsenal overhaul. barrel is excellent---brilliant bore, 2-groove 7-43, muzzle tight. rifle has a very dark parkerized finish from it's overhaul, much like the dark parker on late 1903 rifles. all fittings are marked R. the scope--- many years ago I found a most excellent M73B1 scope with flawless cross-hair optics and the original end-caps (not repro covers).
