Tula SVT-40, Samozaryadnaya Vintovka Tokareva, Obrazets 1940 goda ("Tokarev Self-loading Rifle, Model of 1940").
This rifle has the characteristic refurb plum bolt, comes with one ten-round detachable box magazine, and a cleaning rod.
Designed basically by Fedor Tokarev in 1938, and refined in 1940, The SVT40 rifle cycles by means of a gas-operated short-stroke spring-loaded piston, with a tilting bolt. This weapon has a MUZZLE BRAKE, NOT a flash supressor/hider, and is legal to own and transfer in California.
The Izhevsk "arrow in a triangle" and "1940 stamp on the receiver identifies the arsenal and date of manafacture. The original arctic birch stock shows a bit of wear, but has no cracks or repairs. Serial # xx102x is stamped on the stock, receiver, and triggerguard as well as electropenciled on the plum colored bolt. The electropencil numbers and plum-colored bolt are signs of an arsenal rework, which is common with SVTs that went through this rebuild process. Like many SVTs, the receiver has the milled grooves for a scope mount, but no top notch to lock the scope mount in place.
The barrel has the later 4 slot muzzle brake. Standard 100-1500 meter sights. The rifle and stock are in very nice condition overall.

7N1 Soviet/Russian sniper ammo is one of the most sought after rounds by 7.62X54R shooters. Check out the auction sites and see what it's going for.
Russian 1997 7.62x54R 152 grain "7N1" CHAnNEPCKnE Sniper ammunition was developed by Russian armorer Sabelnikov for the SVD “Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova” which translates as (Yevgeniy) Dragunov's Sniper Rifle.
The match grade cartridge consists of an annealed copper washed steel cases with a special 15 grain boat tail bullet. It has a steel jacketed projectile with an air pocket, steel core, and a lead knocker in the base which is designed to cause the projectile to "tumble" once it hits its target.
Though made for the Dragunov, this ammo should be fine in any 7.62x54R Mosin rifle, like the Dragunov Tiger Carbine, M91, M38, M44, 91/30, PSL, SVT, Finnish M39 Chinese Type 53, (and NDM-86/EM-351, when chambered in 54R) ...
Headstamp is 188 (Novosibirsk Factory) over 97.

"INLAND MFG. DIV. GENERAL MOTORS 9-43 barrel ID marks on this Inland M1 Carbine, as well as "Blue Sky, Arlington VA" next to the bayonet lug.
serial #6979xx. This carbine shows normal wear, but is in good condition.
Due to California law my 15 round magazine isn't included with the carbine, but 10 round mags are available on the open market.
The maker's receiver mark is covered by the SA marked military M1 carbine adjustable sight, but the six digit number IDs it an Inland receiver.

Rottweil shot cartridges use GECO-X hard shot which contains special alloy supplements and is surface treated. (Los Angeles) 1943 Soviet TT-33 Tokarev Pistol NO ADDED SAFETY WW2 - $ 1,200
This Soviet WW2 Tokarev pistol is chambered in 7.62x25 Tokarev, and in hard-to-find unaltered condition.
1943 dated, matching frame, barrel, and magazine serial #s. The magazine has the original number struck out, and the same original number restruck at rebuild, so yes, it's the original mag, that's just the way the rebuild factory did it.
Iznevsk arsenal (arrow in a triangle) marked.
This Tok has NO ADDED SAFETY. Most of these in the US had an added safety to meet import requirements, originals like this without the safety are hard to find.
The hammer has a half cock position, which is the original safety feature of this gun.
Original Soviet bakelite grips marked with a star, surrounded by "CCCP", which I believer are initials for the Cyrillic spelling of Sojúz Sovétskix Socialistíceskix Respúblik.
Rearsenal marked (square with a slash through it).
Import marked "TG IMP WPG FLA" on underside of the frame.
The TT-33, developed by Feodor V. Tokarev, an improvement over his previous TT30, was based on John Browning's pistol designs. Firing the 7.62X25 bottleneck cartridge, this Red Army pistol replaced the Soviet's Nagant M1895 revolver series. It was replaced by the Makarov pistol around 1952.
TT's saw extensive combat service in World War 2 (including the Russo-Finnish War), the Korean War, the Chinese Civil War and the Vietnam War, and undoubtedly others as well.
This short recoil actuated, locked breech, single action Tok weighs about 30 ounces unloaded, overall length is about 7.6 inches, with a 4.6 inch barrel.

I have a Remington made Model 1917, also sometimes called an American Enfield. it's still chambered in 30-06. still in military configuration. all parts, to my knowledge, are still Remington(no winchester or Eddystone parts mixed in). it does have a fair bit of surface pitting on the barrel near the muzzle, and I'm guessing whatever happened there also happened to the bore as it has been counter bored in the past. other than that, it's in surprisingly good shape cosmetically. it shoots good, I just can't seem to shoulder it right and it kicks the tar out of me every time I shoot it. Asking Price is $600 OBO. also might be willing to trade for a M1903 or 1903A3.
