This pistol, unlike ANY other handgun, has the barrel precisely at the level of the index finger. As a result, there is no rotation of the gun after the cartridge is fired but BEFORE the bullet leaves the barrel.
It can fire any velocity .22lr ammunition. The muzzle brake can be removed, but is essential for high accuracy with supersonic .22lr ammunition. The weight system is used to tune the gun and remove unwanted harmonic vibration. If the weights are not used, the gun does tend to develop a bi or trimodal impact point. However, these pistols usually have a 0.15 MOA accuracy at 50 meters. The firing mechanism, surprising perhaps, derives from the one used in the SAKO Finnmaster, but the gun has many advantages over the SAKO.
The bar also helps in aligning the gun vertically. That noted, this is perhaps the only gun that is designed to be fired in ANY POSITION or degree of cant or rotation. That includes inverted, or the ridiculous "on its side" position used in lots of movies and TV shows now.
Several different grips are available, including a laminated LH grip, a large and XL Rink RH grip, Morini M grip, and perhaps one or two others. Factor case included.
The first image is the Morini Medium grip. The second is the Rink grip, large. Price is higher for that one, and it may be sold.
Price varies a bit with which grip is chosen. The listed price is with the factory Morini grip, as illustrated. Others are less. Close offers considered, but they must be "close".

This gun set is no more, or less accurate than the usual GSP Expert, but does not have the recoil buffers, or cost-reducing production methods. It does include a 2 stage trigger, but single stage can be provided. The grip uses the newer bottom bolt system. Two grips are provided, the OEM Walther with finger grooves, and the more accuraate Nill grip without the groves.
Roughly 7 commercial versions were offered, not counting the OSPs, prototypes, and commemorative editions. Here is most of what is available. Price for each gun is at the of EACH INDIVIDUAL description. Shipping runs $40 to 80 depending on method. Those that are “fixed” (lower offers NOT considered) have a !. There is a discount for multiple guns. No shipping charge for total purchases over $2500. On the others, close offers are considered. The stated price for each gun is with one magazine, but additional magazines for each are available, as are cantilevered frame weights and alternative grips (mostly not pictured). The 10” barrel fits all of the guns except for the one OSP that is imaged, or the .32 nickel upper section.
All CAN BE SHIPPED to the FFL of your choice. In many areas these guns are assault weapons so be sure they can be delivered to you. They are CA legal, and in .22lr, MA, MD, and some other states legal as well. All have 5 rd magazines, but can use 10 rd magazines if desired in .22lr. The GSP (and OSP grandfather) is a direct descendant of of the Mauser C96, one of the first true military assault weapons. The OSP was the first such derivation, and evolved into the GSP via modifications by a Mauser engineer and gunsmith (Romitanski). Several prototypes and experimental versions followed, resulting in the first version GSP offered below. From there, a number of clones appeared in the 1960s from a variety of European origins (Germany, Sweden primarily), but the clones did not use the modular structure of the C96, OSP, or GSP.
The most recent clones are from Pardini and Morini. These are quite good pistols, but do not use the modular structure and component system to the extent of the GSP. Feed systems also is quite different. In the GSP, final feed actually is controlled by channels in the receiver, similar to the FN49. This assures essentially perfect feed, with no bullet tip damage, and is a key factor in the overwhelming continued popularity of the GSP, for decades.

Very nice 338-06 built on an older Ruger M 77 (tang safety) action. This rifle was purchased used so I have no knowledge of the barrel maker or the round count but borescoping shows 98% condition so the count is pretty low. The targets in the pictures speak to how well this rifle shoots. Blueing is 98% overall. The barrel is about a #4 contour and 24" long. Bolt is jeweled. It is epoxy bedded into a factory stock that has had some custom work including slimming and sculpting on the forend and added checkering.
