I really hate to sell this, but I had this specially built by James River Armory using; USGI parts, their forged M21DMR receiver (with built in rail system on the receiver), and Medium NM barrel, last year during the NRA convention at Indianapolis. During that time I was working, and living, in Indiana and had access to private land where I could shot up to 800 yards. Last fall my wife was offered a job here in Ohio and we moved here to the Dayton area while i go back to school. I cannot find anywhere close enough for me to shoot this rifle at the ranges I had it built for, nor do I really have the time I had before, due to work and school. This is my last 308 rifle and have only held on to it for this long (hoping to find somewhere close to shoot it) because it is so much fun to shoot, plus it is very accurate for a semi auto.
Because of the move, I have decided not to put anymore money into this rifle (scope, better stock, etc) and instead plan to sell it for something else.
The rifle has had 300 rounds through it and has been very well taken care of and cleaned after each trip to the range. It shoots very accurately and is an amazing rifle to shoot. I love shooting it!

I am looking to trade this ammo for .22lr of good quality, Winchester M22 . What I am offering for trade is impossible to find for purchase and please don't confuse this ammo with the yellow box of Norinco. It is Chinese, I am quite sure is Corrosive but it is truly steel core and considered armor piercing and banned from importation thanks to Clinton
These are 150 Chinese hard steel core AP rounds made at the height of the Vietnam War, made from factory 31 in 1958. Headstamp is "31 58".
This ammo is Military Specifications (MILSPEC)True military ammo
Also have 17 rounds of 762x39 head stamp 71 factory 1993 year of manufacture, same thing for trade.
I did some research on the ammo I have and for what is selling. All I could find is the same type of ammo but new COMMERCIAL production not MILSPEC , mid 80's and is selling for $1 per round.
The ammo that I have is factory 31 and produced in 1958, Vietnam era and is considered AP. The steel core is not mild, it actually is hard steel and very accurate. In this case I will value the 150 on striped clips that I have for $175 but I'm not interested to sell it just to trade for 3 bricks Winchester M22 lr
Also on the striped clips is stamped in the back 31 meaning factory 31 and it can be considered collection ammo. Looks perfect like was made yesterday even if is 57+ years old
